Jason Epperson | President
Jason is a passionate producer, manager, and designer with 17 years of experience in Chicago, New York, and in the touring market. Jason began his career as a technician for arena concert tours, eventually moving on to design lighting for national concert acts, trade shows, and theater. In 2004, he began working at the Mercury Theater in Chicago, at the time a mid-size commercial rental house, where he production managed many hit transfers from the Off-Broadway market. In 2006, he took over as General Manager of the Mercury, where he would eventually lead the transition to a seasonal producing musical theater, the largest in Chicago. At the Mercury, Jason produced A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING, BARNUM, THE CHRISTMAS SCHOONER, THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED), A TWIST OF WATER and more.
In 2013, Jason accepted the position of Executive Director at the Greenhouse Theater Center, a historic complex of 4 theaters in Lincoln Park. At the Greenhouse, he renovated the public spaces and lead the struggling non-profit into it's first money making years. His success at the Greenhouse was heralded by the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun-Times. In 2014, Jason produced the hit production of CHURCHILL, which would go on to shatter box office records at the Greenhouse and transfer to New World Stages Off-Broadway, where it recouped it's investment in 10 weeks.
Independently, Jason produced an arena experience of the musical A WONDERFUL LIFE, the BLUE BAYOU ELVISLAND SPECTACULAR, and the LAKESHORE THEATER CONCERT SERIES. He was the production supervisor for Chicago commercial productions of ALTAR BOYZ, FREUD'S LAST SESSION, and BELFAST BLUES.
Jason served 5 years as the head of Theater Technology at his alma mater, Columbia College Chicago - the largest theater department in the United States - and in 2015, he was selected to attend the Commercial Theater Institute's Summer Intensive Program at the prestigious O'Neill Center. He is also an accomplished graphic designer, creating show art, logos, and promotional materials for the industry, and an Equity stage manager.
Abigail Trabue | Vice-PresidentAbigail is an actress, director, and casting director who has been active in the Chicago theater community since moving here in 2001. She has worked extensively with much of Chicago's storefront theater community, was a founding ensemble member of Polarity Ensemble Theatre, and an Artistic Associate with Porchlight Music Theatre. Abigail also works as a freelance business analyst for insurance supplement companies. She graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2004 with a degree in Musical Theater, where she now teaches for the High School Summer Institue. firstname.lastname@example.org
